Science is not a religion because religion is based on faith and science is based on evidence and peer review.
Treat or trick? Halloween costumes at work
Mon Oct 22, 2012
You can't do anything without offending people these days. I don't think it's unprofessional to dress up at work for Halloween. As long as their are guidelines, it's fine. Yes, a tampon would be inappropriate, but there again... guidelines. Also common sense.

Judd is white, and said he interpreted the photo to mean that if blacks don’t vote for President Obama in November, the days of lynching will return.
Ga. district investigates math homework on slavery

I don't know what made these teachers think this was a good idea. It clearly wasn't, but I wonder if people would be so quick to assume their decision was fueled by racism if this had happened in California or New York. People keep saying things like "well it's Georgia so that must mean they're rebe …
Pint-sized preacher, 4, is a sermon sensation
Tue Aug 16, 2011

I love the Backstreet Boys. When I was younger, I had a whole wall of my room covered in posters of just them (mostly Nick Carter). I already have my tickets to this concert. I will probably be 80 years old still singing "Tell me why..."

Protesters condemn 'brutal killing' of bin Laden
Fri May 6, 2011
So we shot him quickly, gave him a proper burial (that he didn't deserve) and didn't release his death photo... and yet they call what the United States did a brutal murder? Not to mention the fact that instead of just bombing the entire building, our special forces risked their lives to go inside i …
Bush, victims, world leaders react to bin Laden's death
Mon May 2, 2011
Bush does deserve some of the credit. He began the search. Both he, Obama, and our military forces deserve much credit for this.
